The Baby Tracker home screen on a phone in dark mode: a photo of baby Jane above four colour-coded cards for Feeding, Diaper, Pumping and Nap, each with how long ago it last happened, over the day's log of entries. Around it float a breastfeeding timer reading 00:01, a “Total Amount 100 ml” input split between left and right side, and a week of feeding volumes as a bar chart.

The tracker as it was inherited: an Add Log bottom sheet covering the Feeding activity list underneath it, beside two more screens — a generic Add Log form with Start Time and End Time fields and Nap and Nightsleep chips, and a grid of tracker cards for Feeding, Sleep, Diaper, Pumping and Activity.

The original add-log flow, labelled “Original”: a bottom sheet over the Feeding screen with Breast, Bottle and Solids tabs, a Start Time field and left and right timers, with a column of four tracker cards overlapping it. The replacement, in dark mode: a full-screen Feeding log grouped by date with one “+ Add” button, beside the four tracker cards it opens from.

What a free user sees: the tracker cards dimmed behind a preview prompt reading “Keep your baby's routine on track! Join our VTech Haven to log feeds, sleep, and more in seconds.” above a Subscribe button — a demonstration of the feature rather than a locked screen.

The rewritten reminder, shown before and after: the old alert read “3:00am feeding reminder”; the new one reads “Baby's next feed is coming up. Last fed 2hr 45m ago · 90 ml. Usual feeding time in 15 minutes.” — beside it, that notification arriving over the live crib view.

Work in progress on a faster way to log: a Track Nap widget reading “1hr 30m ago” with a play button, a quick-log stack listing Feeding, Nap and Diaper with their last times, and redesigned Breastfeed, Solids and Diaper sheets.
